Not gonna lie.  These treats were delicious.  I tried them too.  In fact, it was almost a “one for me, one for you” situation.

The dogs definitely loved them.  What’s not to love about Greek yogurt, yummy dried cranberries and coconut?  What a great way to help your pup cool down on a hot day!

I used a combination of small molds and larger molds for these treats.  As I was using smaller molds as well, I made sure that the coconut and cranberries were chopped into very small pieces, but if I had just used the larger molds, minimal to no chopping would have been required.

The Benefits of Homemade Frozen Dog Treats

While store-bought treats can suffice, making your own has its perks. When you create treats at home, you control the ingredients, ensuring only the best for your beloved pooch. In our Frosty Cranberry Coconut Dog Treats, we embrace the goodness of natural ingredients like cranberries and coconut, steering clear of additives or preservatives. What’s more, crafting treats from scratch lets you tailor them to your dog’s preferences and dietary needs.

The Nutritional Value of Cranberries and Coconut

Cranberries aren’t just for human consumption; they offer substantial health advantages for dogs too. These little berries are renowned for supporting urinary tract health, making them particularly beneficial for dogs prone to urinary issues.

Meanwhile, coconut brings healthy fats to the table, aiding digestion and promoting a glossy coat. Our recipe strikes a balance, combining these nutritious elements into a delightful frozen concoction.

Health Considerations and Moderation

While these treats are undeniably delectable, it’s essential to remember moderation. Consult your veterinarian before introducing new treats to your dog’s diet, especially if they have specific dietary needs or health conditions. Remember, treats should complement their balanced diet, not replace it.
